Vendor Information and Agreements

Vendor FAQ

1. General Participation

Q: Why do I need to provide proof of insurance? A: We curate a professional marketplace of established brands. Requiring insurance ensures that if a rare accident happens (like a candle fire or an allergic reaction), both you and the platform are protected. It signals to our customers that WGG vendors are legitimate, high-quality businesses.

Q: What is the “72-Hour Rule”? A: To maintain a premium customer experience, we require vendors to acknowledge customer inquiries or platform messages within 72 hours. You don’t have to solve every problem in 3 days, but you do need to check in so the customer knows they aren’t being ignored.

2. Products & Listings

Q: Can I sell my “Ritual Teas” or “Health Tinctures”? A: Currently, WGG does not allow ingestible products (anything meant to be eaten or swallowed). This is to protect the community from complex FDA regulations. However, we love “external use” items like bath salts, ritual oils, and floor washes—just be sure to list all ingredients!

Q: Why must I include a “Curio/Entertainment” disclaimer? A: Legal regulations regarding spiritual products are tricky. By labeling items as “curios” or for “entertainment purposes,” we create a legal safe harbor that prevents claims of “unfulfilled supernatural promises.” It allows you to sell the magic without the liability.

3. Pricing & Fees

Q: What is “Pricing Parity”? A: It’s simple: the price on WGG should match the price on your own website. We want customers to feel confident shopping here without worrying they are being upcharged for finding you through our curation.

Q: Can I send my WGG customers a coupon for my personal website? A: We encourage you to build your brand, but all transactions that originate on WGG must stay on WGG. Redirecting our customers to your private checkout is a breach of our “Non-Circumvention” policy and helps us keep the platform running for everyone.

4. Shipping & Disputes

Q: What happens if a customer says their package was stolen? A: If your tracking shows “Delivered” to the correct address, you’ve done your job. Under our TOS, we protect vendors from “porch piracy” claims. We only step in if the tracking is invalid or the item arrives fundamentally different from the listing.

Q: Who makes the final call on a refund? A: You do! We want you to manage your own shop. However, if a dispute reaches a stalemate, WGG reserves the right to make a “Final Determination.” We use the evidence provided by both parties to make a fair, binding decision so everyone can move on.

5. Content & Marketing

Q: Will I get credit when you use my photos on Instagram? A: Absolutely! Our goal is to promote you. By granting us a “Promotional License,” you’re giving us the green light to feature your beautiful products in our ads and social feeds to drive more traffic to your shop. We always aim to tag and highlight the specific artist.
